Cash is still King, but...
Earnings continued to pour in this week and again they were generally better than expected. What is noteworthy is that few companies are warning us about a deterioration of earnings next quarter. Even in the banking system earnings have come in better than expected though they have been poor at best.

Market Commentary: What's Next
Last week we had a market that increased 4.5% from a severe oversold situation the week before. Earnings have started to pour in and they have been good but the economic statistics, of which there was a lot last week, have been, at best, poor. The one big exception was inflation; it's disappearing.
